Beethoven: Piano Sonatas Vol. 4 is part of his nine-year, nine-disc recording project of all 32 of Beethoven’s piano sonatas and Biss's larger journey to understand the composer. Biss has published Beethoven’s Shadow, the first ever Kindle Single written by a classical musician. This January, the MOOC provider Coursera relaunched Biss’s Exploring Beethoven’s Piano Sonatas course with the Curtis Institute of Music. In its last installment, Exploring Beethoven’s Piano Sonatas reached over 50,000 students.
